My wife made this wonderful cheesecake from scratch! I just had to share the recipe. Cook time is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Prep time is about 15 minutes.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbs sugar
  • 3 tbs butter or margarine melted
  • 6 pkgs (8oz each) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • Top with fresh berries

Mix crumbs, 3 tbs sugar, and butter and press firmly into bottom of a 9″ springform pan, and bake at 325 degrees for 10 min. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, flour and vanilla until well blended. Add sour cream and mix well. Add eggs 1 at a time mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 5 min. or until center is almost set. Loosen cake from rim of pan and let cool before removing. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Spread cherries over the top before serving.
