I love what I do for a living. As an Art Director at The Alchemedia Project in Springfield, Missouri, I’m blessed to work with cool people and fun clients. I’m passionate about creating beautiful and useful things. As a curious soul this includes a vast array a visual mediums.

My Education

I have a BFA in graphic design from Missouri State University. I graduated in 2007. My education focused on design theory, the creative thought process and visual communication.

What I do for fun.

My wife and I love to watch movies. Our taste varies and but we’re suckers for a great story. We also enjoy mountain biking and soaking up as much sunshine as possible. I’m brand loyal to Jeep Wrangler, it’s one of my favorite things. I also enjoy reading bizarre news stories and wasting time on twitter.

What I’m interested in.

Keeping up with technology and the changing landscape of web design is a full-time job. However, it’s something I’ve grown to appreciate. Just when it’s about to become automatic and mundane, the field will reinvent itself. Responsive web design and mobile first web development are issues that I’m very interested in right now.
